                                                “PEACEFULLY”

       Leontine grab her lacy black underwear from her closet. She is planning to wear it because it is the night where she’s gonna give her entire self to Wyatt. “This is going to be a tumultuous night” she said to herself while pulling her underwear up to her skinny waist. She let her hair down and put her ruby red lipstick. She heard a knock on her rusty wooden door, “Wyatt is waiting outside.” said his father. “I’ll be right there.” She grabbed her heart-shaped bag then hurried to their veranda where Wyatt is waiting. He is wearing a magenta polo with blue and white stripes on it. Leontine can’t help herself to blush, she know that Wyatt is every girls dream with his sharp jawline, tanned skin and his perfect body, Leontine is aware that Wyatt only want her for his pleasure but she doesn’t care about that anymore, they needed each other.

        “You should get going and Leontine, be here before midnight.” Leontine just nodded to her dad. “I can’t believe this is the night.” She said as Wyatt started his motorcycle, he just reply her with a smirk. After an hour of travel, they reached their spot. They are at the foot of the ‘H’ of the Hollywood sign. They placed a blanket at the grass, Leontine suddenly felt the cold breeze of July. Wyatt is just silent, she can feel that he just want the thing to happen. “I know you’re getting bored right now, I’ll just finish this mac and cheese that you cooked” she said feeling annoyed. After she finished eating she sat near Wyatt, silence invaded them, the cold breeze is now turning into a body heat. Leontine immediately kissed Wyatt, both of them can’t breathe properly. They kissed until Leontine’s cream-colored dress and Wyatt’s magenta polo is nowhere near their body. Both naked, flesh to flesh, sweats and the sounds of pleasure and pain overrun their surroundings. They both know that it was an animal sex. They continue doing it until Wyatt released what he is supposed to release. “It was a good sex, I almost said I love you.” Wyatt mouthed while Leontine just fell asleep, everything went black in her sight.

Birds flew from my heart. Mermaids swimming everywhere. A lion headed man talking to me. Murmur and undefined sounds, I can hear.

The flowers are singing. My electric blue cabinet is melting. I’m behaving strangely.

The feeling of satisfaction invaded me.

For the nth time,

HOW PEOPLE BECOME OVERLY DEPENDENT ON TECHNOLOGY?

Today is 2019, where technology is more relevant than the oxygen that we breathe. We are very exposed to technology. We overly depend our lives on this because we all want an instant life, we all want an easy and non-tiring life. Yes, is has benefits on us, but do we really think that we should depend all our doings on technology? We forgot the essence of socialization and human communication. We became close-minded on different things. We became ignorant, because we rely all things on technology. The progress of science and innovations has influenced our lives immensely. Many people do not realize how technological advancements have made an impact on our lives that it seems almost impossible to live without it. Whether you love or hate technology, it is here to stay. It is growing and changing every day. Technology has changed the way we communicate, look at and enjoy in this world. This topic about the advancements of the world and technology is a very broad topic, we should know our limitation on what are the things that we should depend on technology and what are not.

TOXIC

I have different ideas on how to define the word “Toxic” but one definition of toxic topped my other ideas. The one that I’m talking about is “Toxic” by the one and only Britney Spears. "Toxic" is a song recorded by American singer Britney Spears for her fourth studio album In the Zone. It is released on January 13, 2004. The song has received acclaim from music critics, deeming it the strongest track on the album. The song won Spears her first and only Grammy Award at the 2005 ceremony in the category of Best Dance Recording. "Toxic" attained worldwide success, reaching the top-five in 15 countries, while topping the charts in different countries.

      I think this means that she has irrevocably and seriously been swooned under the man's dark spell. She knows he's deadly for her heart, he'll break her, he'll hurt her, yet she still craves him, his pain, his love, his hate. It pains her that she can’t deny it, it pains her that she is love drugged to death or maybe Britney is just obsessed on who is she is singing about. That is just my own interpretation of the song “Toxic” by Britney Spears.

HAPPY PLACE

You may say that I’m an obsessed fan of Taylor Swift, but I’m really am. When I think of a happy place, I immediately think of family, friends, school etc. but to be more unique, my happy place is actually not a place, I chose Taylor Swift as a subject for my happy place. The American white girl from Reading, Pennsylvania served as one of my reason to be more happy, carefree and motivated in life. When I first listen to her song “Teardrops on my Guitar” she immediately caught my ears and heart. The soft voice, the blonde curly hair and her cute fake country accent made me love her.

         There are times that I’m feeling worn out in life, the feeling of hopelessness invading my soul, I don’t know what to do anymore. She is there for me, not physically but through her music, I feel comfort and warm hugs from her. Her content in music is very relatable, especially when it is about love life. The lyrics of her songs have the deepest meaning, you can feel every single words that she is saying. She is one of the huge blessing that happened in my life (even though this line is so cliché but it is true). I can’t imagine my life right now if there is no Taylor Swift that existed.

LOVER

Alison (an aspiring musician) is a loyal fan of the global superstar Taylor Swift. One afternoon while listening to her idol, she dreamed about being a musician someday, she thought of writing songs about love, in all its complexity, coziness and chaos. Then suddenly, her mother told her to go to the market to buy groceries and then suddenly she passed by a guitar shop so she decided to drop by. While looking, the store owner asked her if she wants to try their new model of guitar ad she didn’t hesitated to try it. She used her original song called LOVER. She didn’t know that the owner is taking a video of her and posted it on the internet and it became viral. She woke up one day with so many emails from different recording company to build her music career. She chose the company that she believed can handle her very well. They offered her to release an album. She likes clouds, pink, purple and hearts so she decided to include that on the album cover. She named her album LOVER based on her very first hit song. It became a huge hit and she became the most popular superstar. She can’t believe that she released the very first album that she owned.
