my favorite narrachara headcanon is chara naming the songs. just. ‘sans.’ ‘Uwa!! So Temperate♫‘. and a personal favorite of mine - ‘ Can You Really Call This A Hotel, I Didn’t Receive A Mint On My Pillow Or Anything’.

Just imagine your life would be narrated like Frisks journey is narrated by Chara through out Undertale. “You stare blankly at the desktop for five minutes because you don’t know what to do. What a waste.” “Talking about waste, you did that the last six days, too.” “You go to the kitchen but immediatley went back because you forgot what you wanted there.” “You have several things in mind you could do. But you’re too lazy to do anything of it. Therefore you only sit there doing absolutly nothing.” “You play a video game you’ve played for ten times already. How about trying out a new one?”

ok, do you think the buttercup incident was a genuine accident?

you’re talking abt when they baked a pie(? i think it was a pie) with buttercups instead of cups of butter, right? yeah, i think that was an accident. i did see a theory once, though, that chara just thought the wordplay of buttercups vs cups of butter was super clever, but didn’t know that buttercups were poisonous, which i feel like is equally plausible. chara seems to have a good sense of humor, at least, if you accept the narrator chara theory as true (which i do) and it makes sense that they, as a kid, wouldnt know that buttercups were poisonous. hell, i didn’t know buttercups were poisonous until i played undertale, and i didn’t play it until i was 14. i wouldnt past them to attempt to make a joke and not have any idea that there would be consequences on that scale.

in either case, im entirely certain that they didn’t intentionally poison asgore. chara loved monsters. the dreemurrs were their family. they wouldn’t have just poisoned their own adopted father like that.

i think a big piece of evidence for the narrator chara theory is this moment right after undyne breaks the bridge in waterfall, where you hear asriel talking to “you”. it’s asriel’s voice, but asriel isn’t there, and im pretty sure it’s not flowey talking to you. that’s chara, sharing a memory with you.
