@lotro-week It's day 2 baby!!!! Favorite Places, NPCs and Side Quests!
For my first up, it's Southern Mirkwood, one of my favorite NPCs Nifdir and his side quests to help cheer up the sad trees of Mirkwood!
"I will return when I can, but not before I attempt to discern what ails the trees of this swamp. I do not think they are evil! Alas, my heart is saddened by their pain." -Nifdir
My guy is in the middle of a war zone and just wants to make the trees happy, cause when the trees are sad, he is sad.
Next up we have the Lone Lands (Specifically Garth Agarwen) and the Red Maid, Naruhel!
This was one of the first quest lines that had to truly transfixed on this game! The detail and care that was given to flesh out an otherwise overlooked part of Middle Earth was amazing! I love this story line so much, especially with it being so early in the game!
"We came upon the maiden in the waters north beyond the wall. She was draped in vines and tattered robes and smiled beautifully before she cringed and shook the water apart" -Hana the Young

On a compleate side note, does anyone know why they changed Naruhel's design? Cause I always remember her having red hair, but now she has green. I had to look up pictures online cause I thought I just misremembered the whole thing, but no, she definitely had red hair at one point. I think the red fits better, but maybe it's better to have the contrast for the instance? But she will always have red hair in my heart!!
Just look at how badass she looks!!!
Honestly, there are so many cool places and characters and side quests in this game! I love it all so much!
