This scene is really interesting. While Sasuke is alone during this chapter most likely 'dying', without anyone apart from team taka and mr snake knowing, Naruto is being helped by all his friends who are trying to keep him alive.
Made be think of what Itachi last said to Naruto
Makes me think that Itachi was right about what he was talking about
The Village didn't acknowledge him (Minato) because he became Hokage. He became Hokage because the Village acknowledged him! Don't forget about your friends!

I am so loving naruto right now. It is just so amazing and I'm amazed that they actually made me like itachi. This arc has helped me like a lot of characters I didn't have as much respect for without annoying me in the attempt. This chapter is more talking then action but the pages I posted below make this chapter you don't even really need to read it if you read these 3 pages.
I'm going to go ahead and guess that this is foreshadowing to an arc where naruto will become hokage. Where I could see the series ending with him in the rank of hokage I know jump can't afford to let naruto end and I see plenty of viable ways to keep it going past this part.
