Naruto Chapter 658
Tbh I don't have a lot to say. Well, theres really only so much you can say about fighting, isn't there? Its not really something you can interpret - theres no tone or anything, just actions.
Basically we get nice shots of the beats pumelling Mads because Gaara was trippy. But then Shukaku gets cocky and its like, dude, Mads has been fighting an army for hours, had a crap load of clones etc etc and isn't tired - what makes you think you're little smack down will beat him?
Of course Mads comes out of the seal, which actually looks pretty damn awesome. Naruto and Bee arrive and then we get a page of tails.... I'm all for showing whats happening, but thats something that the anime will add. My biggest complaint with Kishi is that he wants to show everything, which in manga, isn't the wisest decision all the time. Anime has the time to be able to do that, novels do, movies do, but manga chapters are short and need to leave a point - I get what he's doing and I like it, because it shows he's thinking about his world, but its not always interesting or useful.
Explosion page with 1 and 9 snarking. We aren't going to get much done this chapter... Zetsu arrives and gives Mads an eye and thats it. Which is great, but how many times can Mads get new powers (eyes, bodies etc) and keep trumping everyone? Its starting to wear thin for me.
But we're near the end, so that should keep me going!
does anyone else find it weird that madara could get out of a multi-layered sand pyramid curse seal tomb...but couldn't move when there were grains of sand in his body...
WAIT! how did madara use susano'o without having any eyes(in this week's chapter)???
