Fanfic Update: Chapter 19 of What We Make of It

Sorry for the longer than usual break between chapters. Had some personal/health adventures that interrupted my writing routine, but we're back on track now. 😊 Thanks so, so much for all of the motivating comments over the past couple of months. ❤️❤️

I'm excited for this next one. It's mostly angst/healing/fluff-themed with a splash of romcom. Enjoy!

Sakura finally submits her grant application to save her youth mental health clinic via Sasuke's hawk summon, Garuda.

They plan to spend a few more days in Adakite with their civilian friends, Laidon and Talako, whose wedding is only a few days away.

Sakura is determined to make a fire on her own. Sasuke teaches her Fire release and sparks fly in more ways than one. 😏

Summary: It had been a long night on a battlefield near a settlement on the outskirts of Hidden Rain Lake. The battle had gone on for days, leaving rubble in its wake. The smell of smoke choked the air and people were in a panic. The Akatsuki were right there in the midst of the chaos, just to make sure that they could protect those who couldn’t protect themselves.

But then, in the midst of all of the chaos, the sun rises. The sun rises and hope begins to emerge. The suffering of the Hidden Rain may soon come to an end.

If you add a filter so that Sasuke and Sakura are both listed as main characters (not necessarily that it is a SasuSaku story - I’m not sure how to filter for that), it is rated 25 based on review count.
