On Boruto....
I really like how they capture the difference between generations and the different type of struggles that come with that, such as difference in opinions about technology, the younger generation not understanding the type of troubles that the older generation had to face, as well as the younger generation not realizing the privileges they have that the older generation didn’t, etc. I still definetly prefer Naruto, but that’s just some of the things I feel Boruto is doing well. I think that seeing how bratty/unappreciative certain characters can be at times make people like it less than Naruto and be a little bitter towards the characters, but that is just the reality of growing up in a world where kids haven’t had to face the struggles their parents did. Being kids growing up in the era of peace, they haven’t had the chance to experience a lot of hardship and so the characters have a need for different areas of character development than the older generation. They struggle with different types of things that they need to overcome and I think that we need to give the poor kids a break sometimes 😂
