Hullo! Could I ask if you have any ideas on what the voices of the members of Calamity Watch are like? Just wondering. Thanks!
i don't have specific voiceclaims, as usual, for most of them, but i have a vague idea of how they sound in my head:
nat's voice is..... idk, i know that she definitely speaks in an enthusiastic manner, probably a bit too loud without realizing it. i don't have a particular pitch or accent in mind, though.
blythe is the opposite, usually very quiet, and zir voice is a bit deeper than you would think just by looking at zir. ze's also from new england, so a bit of that accent is in there.
braggart can't speak out loud, instead materializing text on it's pages; but he's got a distinctive font that he 'talks' in, which separates his words from the pre-written passages.
rin's voice is very controlled, smooth and almost monotone. ken is far less so, boisterous and often stuttering if he gets particularly excited. japanese is their first language, and while they are both fluent in english they still have a noticeable accent.
geiger's a slick, showy fast-talker. he has a very clear and almost academic way of speaking, undeterred by interruption or tongue-twisters. think someone like Tom Lehrer.
