A New Tournament
So yesterday and today were national qualifiers! Another tournament spent with people im a hot mess around! So what did I do this time? So we’ll open with Henry! This time nothing really significant happened actually! I am still extremely into him and overall think he’s utterly amazing but like nothing really happened! He sat right next to me for two of the three rounds. We would make eye contact every once and a while and he would smile or there was a couple times when something chaotic would happen in the house like somebody dropped their laptop and when it would happen he would look at me and we’d kind of laugh and he’d say something to comment on it! I mean really this was enough for me with him but two other small things happened that also were kind of nice. First of all is I take notes the entire session and when My friend was reading my notes he heard his name mentioned. He came over and stood over my shoulder listening to them being read. At one of my jokes he laughed so hard and pat my shoulder and oh my god 😂 the second thing was he was one of the two people who qualified for nationals from my house and after awards I invited him to dinner with me and my team. He put a hand in my shoulder and was like “sorry! I’ve gotta go home because I have something I’ve gotta do but I’d love to come next time!” And I said “oh you’re fine! And congratulations on taking a nationals spot!” And he tells me “oh my god thank you! And you’re notes were amazing! They were so much fun to read!” And like all these little tiny things were MORE than enough for me! I see him next weekend for state quals and I’m super pumped! 02/09/19
