maybe you could set up a fruit fly trap, like just put out some fruit in another jar and then you can just shake it and dump it straight into the mant jar?? i dunno, i always just avoided catching them until they're big enough to eat petsmart crickets. but you could also buy fruit flies from places. another option is mosquittos and small moths, tho idk if those are as abundant where you live as they are for me, but they're easy for small mants to eat!
ohh yes, we have many, many, MANY mosquitos and other insects, i suppose i’ll go try to grab a few later. the thing is i have a stupid gnat infestation in my succulents so i was like HEY I MIGHT AS WELL JUST CATCH THE ONES I CAN FROM HERE but they are so SMALL and FAST ugh
