PRESS RELEASE: California Authors’ Award-Winning Children’s Book and Bestselling Novel Chosen to Represent California at the Library of Congress’ National Book Festival.

"Wake, Sleepy One" by Lisa Kerr and illustrated by Lisa Powell Braun and "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin will be featured at the California Center for the Book’s table in the Festival’s Roadmap to Reading exhibition at the National Book Festival in Washington, DC.

The National Book Festival schedule is live! http://www.loc.gov/bookfest/schedule/ Deb will present at the Genre Fiction Stage from 1:40 p.m. until 2:25 p.m. From 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., she will be available at her signing line, located on the main festival floor. The bookstore is also on the main floor (the bottom). If you haven’t been to the festival before, it’s massive and chaotic. ALWAYS arrive early! As hinted at in previous posts, I am working on something special for my followers during this event, as I will be attending. 😉 Watch this space!

Last month at #natbookfest I received this beautiful portrait from a fan. Her name is Diamante (@dcbolduc9390) and, as you can see, she's incredibly talented. When I started writing books. I couldn't have imagined all the amazing and generous and talented people it would allow me to meet. I'm a very lucky author. Thank you guys for every kind word and thank you Diamante for this beautiful painting.

Activate Book Buying Ban! 😂😂😂 These are all books I was gifted (3) and bought (20) in September! A majority of these were from the last week! I cannot believe how out of control my buying has been!!
