Coranna understood this thing did not offer anything good. She was paralyzed by a familiar feeling of revulsion that she could barely control. She felt revulsion at what she saw and at something in herself. Ever since Kunrad stabbed her with that strange blade, this feeling was with her. Abelard's words snapped her out of her paralysis and forced to act, pushing away the delusion. But this lousy feeling nested like a worm at the back of her mind.
