nate sat waiting for his little brother’s girlfriend to arrive at the brunch location the two agreed upon. he was less than thrilled when he heard that theodore had gotten himself a girlfriend since nate knew it would not be one their parent’s would approve of. he stood up, giving the other a polite smile as he saw her approach the table, “charlotte.” he greeted, holding his hand out for the other to shake.

Dylan took in a breath before diving into the water of the small pool at the bottom of the waterfall. It was always nice to come here. Humans didn't really know about it, and the ones that did... well, at least they were respectful. Today, though, Dylan was alone. Or... so he thought. He was naked, shifting into a merfolk form since it was a favored form among Undines. That was when he heard it. A twig snapping as he surfaced. A human. He grinned and swam to a boulder that was situated nearly center to the natural pool, and he climbed up, letting the stranger see his shirtless torso... and the copper colored fishtail that made up his lower half. "I am the guardian of this pool, and I expect you to be respectful of this sacred place. Why have you come here?" A lie, but this human didn't need to know that. He was just messing with him after all.
