You know, I get it. Being raised as a superstar must be really, really difficult for you. Always a commodity, never a human being, not a single person in your family thinking you're worth a damn off the court—yeah, sounds rough. Kevin and I talk about your intricate and endless daddy issues all the time. I know it's not entirely your fault that you are mentally unbalanced and infected with these delusions of grandeur, and I know you're physically incapable of holding a decent conversation with anyone like every other normal human being can, but I don't think any of us should have to put up with this much of your bullshit. Pity only gets you so many concessions, and you used yours up about six insults ago. So please, please, just shut the fuck up and leave us alone.

ok don’t ask me why but in my head Andrew has got this amazing sexy low rough voice and he can actually sing very well

so one night in their dorm room Andrew is teaching Neil something about basic music culture (because poor boy never listened to some music just for fun)

and then

and Andrew sings it, knows every word and loves that song, puts his entire broken heart and years being called a monster and all the crazy feelings Neil makes him feel in that song

when it finishes, there is a whispered “yes or no?”, very soft as not to broken the atmosphere

the same night in bed Neil asks Andrew to sing for him all his favourite songs, and the first of many habits among them is born

congrats on ur scale model!! rest up!! here r some hcs for u: neither of them r rly fond of christmas but neil likes the lights so andrew takes him out to see them bundled up in scarves and mittens and pauses when he sees the look of wonder in neil's eyes. neil buys tinsel for the cats to play with and can't help but laugh at andrew's face when he sees the glittery apartment. he makes hot chocolate with huge marshmallows and gingerbread. andrew is appeased.

andrew taking neil out to see the lights omg!! he’d be freezing his ass off fo sure but as much as he complains, he doesn’t actually care about the cold, not when neil looks like that. and i bet their gingerbread men would turn out like huge ugly blobs and tbh yeah, neil is kinda upset bc he actually tried, but andrew still eats every single one because “a cookie is a cookie neil” (because u made them neil)
