A friend of mine, like an actual friend whose company I enjoy, is trying to justify white people wearing costumes that imitate Native culture on Halloween because it’s Halloween and it’s about fun. She’s asking people to send their kids out dressed as offensively as possible.

I’m done with this person. I’m going to try and educate her because that’s within my power but I’m not about to keep giving my time and energy, even occasionally, to an unapologetic racist.
