Random Writings
So as I am thinking about what it means to be and Indigenous scholar/researcher. I think about my impending dissertation (oh shit). I know I have a topic centered around the experiences of Native men in higher education, however what all plays into that?
I have a bit of my introduction written, but I’m not sure what all it’s missing. As an Indigenous researcher there are a few standards that I need to hold myself and my research accountable to, in particularly the 4 R’s:
Relational Accountability; Responsibility; Reciprocity; and Respect (The 5th R being the ability to be rugged, but I digress)
How is my research fitting into these ideas of Indigenous scholarship?
Just a random thought in my head today.
