Spent my last day in Tahiti lounging beach side with some of my Bamboo Tahiti crew. This trip has been full of 1sts and bucket list moments. Today was truly amazing! Swam with a humpback whale, sting rays and reef sharks in the pacific ocean off the coast of Moorea in Tahiti. Beautiful & absolutely amazing. I am so thankful to have experience these wonders of the ocean. Did a bunch of fun stuff today after the beach clean up. We went to Airioi Cultural Center and made tapa paper/fabric from inner tree bark, learned some basic Tahitian drumming & dance moves 😉 and then are some Tahitian favorites for lunch. We went to a memorial ceremony for the recently deceased King of Thailand. The elephants from around the village came with their mahoots to pay their respects.
