Man had to decompress after the craziness that went down at work today. Some dumb bunny had a high speed chase, crashed into a truck right next door, then it turned into a hostage situation then the car started on fire. As far as I know, no one lost their life but one woman had to be mercy flighted to the hospital. The hostage was released and the dude was taken into custody. It was like almost a 4 hour stand off. My reception is horrible in my building so when my parents were trying to get a hold of me to make sure I was safe, they didn’t get an answer. Talk about stressful for them! They actually jumped in their truck to come save me. Since they heard the crazy guy with the gun was headed to our building. They couldn’t get through the police line. I finally got to my phone, told them I was ok. I had to go see my parents once we were released to go home. Decompress. There had to be over 60 police vehicles there.
