Let’s not forget that bad cop AI also happened in last night’s Natsuiro High School stream, too, though.

I ended up posting a truncated version of the collision breaking glitch in Natsuiro I ran into earlier tonight to YouTube to share this special moment with my subscribers over there, so I figured I’d run it here for posterity, too.

It’s just.

Man.

PS: Don’t sweat the Japanese talky bits. I was in the middle of a fairly complex topic with a Japanese friend when all of this happened and then once the glitch happens, it’s mostly, “Haha, oh, this game. This game”

Natsuiro High School. That’s a game I played on camera some more.

Still didn’t get a lot done aside from some incredible glitches, so could be better, could be worse. Interesting tangential conversations to be had about the depiction of foreigners in games like this and just the design philosophy in general. It’s a real dumb game, but these streams have been pretty special with its nice mix of Japanese and English speaking viewers.

I’ll play again sometime next week; not sure when because work is a bit denser lately, but I will come back to it.

So the archival for my Natsuiro stream is a bit weird in that it didn’t record my mic locally, so I had to export from Twitch, meaning it came out in two parts (which you can find here), but here it is! If you missed the magic of Natsuiro’s opening hours and want to see them commentated (mostly) in English, this archive is for you!

As I mentioned on the stream, parts of this game are so ambiguous that I plan on playing a little bit more off camera when I have time and getting a better sense of things so that more can actually... happen, but rest assured, I’ll be doing another one of these sometime this week, so... :*D
