Centranthus ruber var. coccineus (Red Valerian) has got to be one of our best naturalised plants for flower power and long season flower interest! . Seeds freely and is naturally a perennial, so large colonies form quite quickly. . Near these, there were pinker, redder and pure white forms all doing their thing.
