#iPlantscat1 demanding attention by sitting on my arm and purring loudly and let’s be honest here, aggressively in my ear. . The question of ownership comes up a lot. She is very confident that she owns me. I’m fairly confident that she is correct. . A mixture between getting on slightly in years and being incredibly lazy, she started to experience some difficulty ascending the garden fences this year, so I built her a shelf to break up the climb. It was just too pathetic to watch her scrambling around. It has plants on it in pots and she basks like a lizard on it during the day. Tradescantia zebrina (Wandering Jew (Really not sure about that common name)) lives up to the ‘wandering’ part of the common name. This was a single stemmed, two-leaved cutting 3 months ago. . They don’t waste any time. . Brilliant, vigorous houseplant. Great to share with friends.
