Two butterflies, one on each side. One large and one small. It doesn’t matter how big or small one feels but what is in your heart. Thank you @beautyqueennature for the pretty reference. You didn’t think we were done, did ya? More art to debut at our spring convention events: “It’s Worth Protecting!” This is a companion piece to a print I designed a couple of years ago at the suggestion of a fan who worked at the EPA. I’d like to do more, I think. What animals/scenes would you like to see me do?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Debuting at @Emeraldcitycon, @c2e2, @wondercon & @planetcomiconofficial this month!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #natureart #natureartist #natureartwork #naturearts #natureartists #natureartgallery #natureartlover #natureartworks #natureartworld #natureartphoto #natureartsoul #natureartdetails #natureartphotography #natureartistry #natureartcamp #natureartiste #natureartoffering #natureartistic #naturearthd #natureartguide #nature #conservation #daneault #monkeyminionpress #protectnature #savetheearth #bighornsheep #waterfall #desert https://www.instagram.com/p/Bulv1o7jyUy/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=14frdfwbrk3qe

do you mind if I ask how you got into Tarot? I’m really interested in pursuing it but I have absolutely no idea where to start.
i totally understand where you’re coming from, there is a LOT out there about tarot and it’s difficult to find a starting point. what i found worked best for me was actually starting with an app! i used the galaxy tarot app for a couple months before i even got my first deck. i turned on daily reading notifications, and the app gave me not only the card to look at, but also an in depth explanation, keywords, and correspondences. (more correspondences if you buy the pro version, which i found to be totally worth it) it also explains the importance of each little drawn detail on the cards, so i learned to look at the pictures on the cards in order to come up with the meaning by myself.
beyond that, i just started. i got my first deck, the wild unknown tarot deck, and i jumped right in. i started doing daily readings for myself, and looking at the picture on the card as well as the explanation in the booklet in order to slowly formulate meanings behind the cards. the best way to start is to find a tarot deck that comes with a booklet of explanations, and jump headfirst into it.
i’ve come a long way, but i’ve been completely self taught! i learned as i went, but of course there are tons of books and cheat sheets out there to help you learn as well. i still stick by the idea that jumping in and learning as you go is the best, most personal way to do it.
i know this doesn’t really...lead you in the direction of learning books or online resources, but i don’t really have any. i never used any so i wouldn’t know what to recommend :0 sorry!
