I believe in the power of giving back! Many times, we are bombarded by sales people wanting your business that we fail to look at the source. . .why are they selling items? How does this business help the community? Today, I purchased a candle from Tim who graduated from this program that helps those who used to be addicted or sustained some form of abuse. I get a lot of people soliciting me in my place of business - that most can never give ne a good reason to do business with them. Tim asked me about the aromatherapy in my business. He asked me if he could show me something that will enhance what I already have in my office. I said, "you have 30 seconds." He said, "if I could show you one candle that compliments this wonderful scent you have flowing in here and I can show you how this one candle benefits the community, would you be interested?" You already know what happened next! A percentage of each candle sold goes back to the program. A percentage of each candle sold goes to the person who sold it, so they can build business skills outside of working a regular job. Each sale helps to build the self esteem and confidence of a person who was once broken and wants another chance at winning in life. Each year, I give to various charities and organizations that I feel really put in the work within their communities. I hope that even this small purchase today helps Tim to continue to build upon the foundation he has set for abundance and success!
