Ella, Blair & Lyla have completed their softball tryouts for the 2020 season. No, they didn't make the Blue Jays, the girls play a faster sport. Ella has landed a spot on the U16 Waterloo Ghosts, Blair is now part of the U14 Wilmot Thunder & Lyla remains a part of the U10 Kitchener Klassics. It was an interesting & educational tryout. The girls are excited for the 2020 season and we are all looking forward to meeting our new teammates. Sunday, September 1st was the first day coaches could contact players for the upcoming 2020 softball season & Monday, September 2nd was the first day they could hold tryouts in Ontario. Ella (U16), Blair (U14) & Lyla (U10) are trying out for spots on local softball teams and were on the field yesterday and will be back out there today. It is a different experience to get offers from different teams expressing interest in my girls coming to tryouts and even play on their team by reputation alone. All we want is to allow the girls to play great ball with good people & go as far as they want to take it. I am very proud of my girls growth & development as players & people.
