Being forced onto an underwater vessel because he was chasing after his maybe soon to be stepbrother and father had not been on Todd’s list of things to do today. Especially this vessel, he remembered it from the last time. And he very much doubted that the captain had forgotten them either. 

Getting Henry off made him breathe a little easier. Killian was right in that aspect that he needed to get back to Emma. 

He kept his eyes on the ocean water throw the window when the door behind them opened and a voice spoke. It sounded just short of familiar and had him turn to face the speaker. 

“Yes we stayed. What do you want with us?”

Alaric knows when he’s being avoided.

Since the curse had broken, Sam - no, Liam - had definitely been avoiding him. Because of their past, or because of the whole...soulmate thing, Alaric isn’t sure, maybe both, but this wasn’t something they could make go away. So he’s finally got the guy cornered - for once working the front of Gold’s store rather than storage.

“Look. I know you...just - forget the soulmate thing, okay? Are you really gonna keep avoiding me? Does this soulmate thing annoy you so much? Aren’t we still friends?”

But the big present--comes in kind of a small box?” He picked up the heart shaped box sitting on the bed, inside of which contained special rope that was more silk than actual twine (in blue, of course.)
