The boats of the British squadron in Chesapeake Bay pursued four large American schooners fifteen miles up the Rappahannock River. The large cutter of the frigate HMS Statira and the launch of the frigate HMS Maidstone boarded and carried the American privateer schooner Dolphin in a British victory.
