It is over. It is finally over. After all this time of war and hurt, of suffering and mourning, they finally have a break. No immediate threat. No war. Now Naversa can finally take Daren home.

Did you ever wish for something and got it but it was even better than what you expected? I always was a bit unsatisfied with Naversas weapons, bc the only weapons that fitted into his black&white theme were the wolfborn and chaos weapon skins. The former I didn’t like the design much, the latter were unbelievably expensive until a few weeks before my GW2 pause when they came back to the BL vendors, but they were just white so not really what I was searching for. So, I always wished for a nice b&w weapon skin. And when I logged in yesterday for the first time in weeks I saw that GW2 delivered with these absolutely beautiful Equinox skins. But not only are they b&w, they 100% fit Naversas stars and starry sky theme and it’s like these weapons were MADE just for him. Thank you, GW2. Thank you ArenaNet. This is all I ever wished for.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday to all of you! It’s a bit late, but well, better late than never <3
I am convinced that in a parallel universe, Naversa is a Nightmare Courtier.
Happy Halloween from this very grumpy and sassy Demon Lord >D
Don't worry, he actually likes it, but also wants to stay in character ;P Also he’s sulking bc his ‘monk’ managed to hide from him again.
So I just replayed The Departing...
And gods this instance never fails to make me cry like a baby. Not only does it remind me of Trahearne and his unnecessary death, which in itself is a reason to cry, but I always have to think about Naversa here....
See, Naversa accompanies Daren, the commander of @little-night-flower, and to make a long story short, these two are absolutely into each other since 5 years but cannot spit it out, Naversa basically chased him through half of Tyria after he met him in Camp Resolve after the whole Maguuma drama, until he arrived just in time in Lions Arch to jump onto the air ship and follow him to the desert to fight a god without a second thought.
So, he cares for Daren, especially for his well being and he hates to see his PTSD grow with every day and... he was just so, SO against the idea of splitting up the party, nothing ever good comes from that after all. But he complied and searched elsewhere for clues and then got word from Taimi to meet up with Daren in the Riverlands, so he got to the ship, still with this worry in his stomach, and what awaited him there nearly broke him. Seeing Daren, seeing his dead body filled him with just so much dread and sadness. While every one else was shocked, tried to do something, he could just stand and stare because right now, he, again, lost the one he loves most in this world. The one he didn’t want to happen again after Virthuril’s death did happen again. And if it wasn’t for the shock, the pain, the tears, he would have just flung himself over the cliff there. But for the short time Daren was dead, his life was meaningless, empty.
And when the commander did come back, he still didn’t react. This was his mind playing tricks on him for sure. And what were they taking about? How could they all just... talk like nothing happened? Make jokes? Snarky remarks? This clearly had to be a dream. The dead don’t just come back. Not unless Joko awakens them. Only when Daren turned to him, when he saw the life shining in his eyes, Naversa knew he wasn’t dead and then he snapped and just... pulled Daren close to him, crying into his shoulder, shaking, muttering ‘You’re alive... you’re really alive...’ over and over again until exhaustion hit him. And despite all this, these two idiots still needed until Istan to finally admit that they love and need each other.
Fools...
Guess Naversa will be drunk for the next 3 weeks then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(Yes this is my first Wintersday)
