FaceTime does wonders

today, we face timed for 3 hours right when I got off of work and it completely made my day. I love seeing your face light up when you smile and I love sharing our days with each other and talking about the future. One day, I will book a one way flight and we will test our luck. After one year of living at this apartment, my range is free and if we're still as strong as we are now, we'll test that theory. I believe we will be, that's the crazy part. I haven't fallen for somebody so quickly before and I've never been so scared to lose somebody either. Your voice even makes me feel like everything will be okay. So i was finally able to read the letter i received yesterday from Nik!!! He told me that his RDC picked him as one of the 8 people to advance. Its a contest though, since there are only 6 spots open. They have to write a 200 word paper on why they should get advanced, but he thinks he wont be able to get it since he already is an E-2 and mostly everyone is an E-1. I think he is just being humble(: i know he knows he can win this!! Im so proud of my sailor!!(:
