“Did I, or did I not tell you to have my money by today?” You snapped venomously, your eyes burning a hole into the poor excuse of a man that was strapped to the chair in front of you. You rolled your eyes as pathetic excuses started to come from his mouth, like word vomit, but cut them short as you pressed a blade to his throat and tugged his head backwards by his hair. “I don’t want anymore fucking excuses, you hear me? I want my fucking money,” you snarled viciously as he blubbered in your hold.

“Please, please have mercy!” He begged as his cheeks shone with shed tears as your grip on his hair tightened. It’s a funny thing that when you first started in this business, as nothing more than a grunt from some already forgotten ‘big boss’, you used to feel remorse and sympathy for the people in this position. Now was a time where you had far outgrown that, you had seen and done things that some people wouldn’t even have the strength to think about, nevermind go through with committing the acts themselves. “I’ll have the money within a week, I swear! Just please-”

“My love?”

You bristled when you heard the soft sound of Natasha’s voice carry through the room, she knew better than to come and bother you when you were working, and you turned to face her with a stoic expression. “Not now Natasha, I’ll be out in a moment. Go and wait outside.” Natasha glanced at the man behind you, who gave her a pleading look, before she turned her attention back to you and frowned softly at the situation she had walked into. It was her own fault for disturbing you when you had instructed her not to, reassured her that you would come to her as soon as you had finished taking care of business. “I said, go and wait outside.”

Natasha stepped back at your tone, not as familiar with it as she once was, maybe she had let herself get too comfortable and ignored the power and dominating presence that you have. Yes, you had never hurt her, but she still knew that you were the one in charge and she would never contest it, but that doesn’t mean she would be unwillingly controlled. You watched her closely as she came to stand by your side, her arms encircling your own to cling onto you as she rested her head against your shoulder and spoke quietly “I heard him shouting for mercy. I’m sorry I came and interrupted you but…I missed you. I know it isn’t my place to say, but maybe give him another chance.”

Your men audibly gulped at the stern look you gave Natasha. Darkened eyes, clenched jaw, furrowed brows, and not to mention your ragged breathing but Natasha didn’t mind and she continued. “Is this the first time he hasn’t paid you back on time?” You nodded stiffly, not trusting your words, not wanting to snap at your Little Dove despite her insolence. “Give him a chance. Make him pay you back by the end of the week, but with 50 percent interest for the delay.” The man tied up below you was quick to nod at your girlfriend’s input, desperate for his life to be spared to get the money for you.
