The Sprout of Nazarick instead of Flower

The beauty about the Flower of Nazarick version of you is the limitless potential you have when you arrive in Nazarick. Automatically know what you’re doing, what to say, who to be honest with and who not to be. You’ve got the best chance of much more quickly surpassing Ainz and learning how to properly dodge his and all of Nazarick’s attempts to contain you but let’s be more realistic. No proper overpowered being doesn’t get to have all of it without some weakness.

In this scenario I see that you originate the same way, the burden of all you can imagination as your power the only problem. Only this....

You’re not an adult anymore.

You were wondering why you were craning your neck for so long and why the characters were so gigantic. Turns out that outwardly you are a runty 5 year-old version of yourself and suddenly your teeth are wiggly and you can’t pronounce words you used to.

“Let me get this straight…you were what?”

“I was isha—er—ishakai’d into yer werld and now I–”

*Aaa they’re so stinking adorable! I should make them say it again! That’s not too cruel, right?*

It takes a bit longer to understand just all you can do as Ainz attempts to explain the world’s power system based off his intrinsic knowledge of the game. Where as if you think hard enough and focus you can do anything you want but while a ‘fully bloomed flower’ might be able to easily dream up of things on the spot, a sprout is hardly on the same level. 

Sure tiny lightning bolts from your hands that would render an entire human kingdom’s army useless isn’t anything to scoff at but Ainz’s view of levels can see out of infinity and you’re just barely pushing 6. You have so far to go and part of that is biological but you need guidance.

“No, you may not. Alpha has instructed me that if you have another you’ll–”

“...I wonder what would happen to a slime if I shummoned enough water to dilute it?”

“I will ask Alpha for clarification…is that good enough.”

Clearly. 

While you’re very lucid about your much older self and what it was like to live in your old body there’s a lot that still changes. You're shorter, yes, but your impulse control is non-existent—sure you’ll come to your senses when Aura screams the safe-word after you’ve been puppetteering your animal golem a bit too violently. You get so hungry, you get cranky. You’re so sleepy, you need naps. You need to learn the norms of the world and the ones of Nazarick.

Similar to the Flower-you, as a  Supreme Being you are endearing to all of Nazarick. But the Flower of Nazarick knows not to use their hands at the dinner table when their famished. The Flower knows when Cocyutus is ranting it’s not something to ignore. The Flower knows to consult telepathically with Ainz before speaking aloud.

“Master Ainz! My proposal for the next step in the little Sprout’s training will be to bear witness to a town being newly claimed for the sorcerer empire. A battle with a moderately intelligent town so they can bare witness to your impeccable strategy Master!”

*(Y/n)! You know they don’t care for humans and unlike me you can’t control your emotions! Don’t do this. *

“I’ve alr'dy decided I’m totally going! Thish will be good for me!”

“If the Sprout is so confident then I’m more then happy to be their escort.”

Worst of all your emotions are raw, almost like the innocence from back then. Injustice hits harder. . Sadness debilitates more...But frustration does the worst to you. In your adult body you could articulate that watching these humans who see nothing but the undead marching their way preparing to fight for their home makes your heart-ache. That it is compassion and sympathy that looks at the crying babies being carried away and hoping to make sure their parents came home that make you want to stop this battle.

But you can’t.

So instead when you cry the sky crackles and pops the winds funnel. The ground erupts and trees grow into monstrous creatures. When you cry your voice rings for ages affecting those in distant cities hundreds of forests away.

You need Ainz to teleport, to your location and hold you into his bony chest. To muffle your cries until they melt into sleepy sniffles. Darkened clouds disperse, the trees reconnect with their roots, the ground closes and that heart stopping noise stops. It’s the King of the Sorcerer Kingdom who rocks you to sleep as he agrees to your pleas to stop the battle. Overseeing Demiurge’s underlings and the others quickly conclude without any lives lost. 

“There there. Sleep little one.”

It occurs to Nazarick that you are not like Ainz who is set on world domination. You are compassionate, sweet, bratty sometimes, but you’d likely never follow through on threats you make. But the Guardians, the Pleiades, and the servants of Nazarick don’t hold it against you in the slightest you are young after all. Not once though do they believe this isn’t necessary in fact with your arrival they move faster; more determined then ever to claim the kingdoms politically as well as in allyship and in battle. If a war upsets you-they must finish it quickly then, after all they want nothing more than to give the world to their Supreme Beings. 

Will they teach you about gore and conquering?

In time, but they also love to enjoy you in your youth!

It doesn’t matter that when you wake you suddenly can collect your thoughts to speak maturely. It’s all less then conjecture to them. You’re flimsy ideals about human lives having value are chalked up to your current form. The themes of love for life only really apply to them as you voice how much they as your family means to you. They’ll skip over you’re cute ideals to non violently take control of the world. 

You have so much to learn.

Dragon Shifter Ainz Au

In all honesty this started because of 2 ting :

1) wanting to make platinum dragon lord experience a sexuality crisis and making him suffer

2) letting Ainz's hoarding habits become stronger

It all started when Ainz Ooal Gown was still active

While Momonga , Tabula and a few other members were clearing a never before seen dungeon (not Nazarick) they stumbled upon

When the finally finished it and got the loot

In the loot was a World Item , however they didn't know this at the time

And by being the person to touch the item Momonga got bound to it

The World Item is called "Ring Of The Verechelen"(this connection to Slavic myths was not intentional) and it effectively grants the user the ability to transform into a dragon and a dragonoid forms (the dragonoid form is more similar to a lizardman that of human)

Of course the forms themselves have all the negative effects associated with them . Of course someone who already plays with either dragon or dragonoid they will get buffet

Of course the chances of that happening are extremely low as most heteromorph are pk so constantly they can even get to level 80 most of the time for longer than a day or two unless they are in a guild . And while dragonoids can have a more humanoid apprance they still get the negative of being in a weaker form , and anyone who plays a dragon after about level 30 is constantly on the run from being pk-ed because of how big they are (you saw the dragon form of Momo above ? Yeah that's a level 100 dragon , they get massive quick , at level 30 they get around the same size as an elephant)

Anyoway back to the World Item

Of course players would still have to build and find the right equipment for both of the forms , and they would also need to level up both forms simultaneously

So a real brother to most peole

Not to Ainz Ooal Gown though

Of course they would still need to learn which classes to get ainz and how he should evolve

Which means they got Tabula and the rest of the guild on the mission to try and find Momo a dragon race to try and build that compliments his already existing build

Which is and how they stumbled on the Zmey build (this connection to Slavic myths was intentional) more specifically on the thr black Zmey or a Gorynych Zmey . The Zmey build focuses much more on the magic side of ting rather than sheer physical buffs

So now Momonga has a black dragon form with as many heads as he has access to the highest tier magic of a element , so at the moment 3

He also can't get the ring off , it didn't work . But at least he doesn't have to worry about someone stealing it as it got linked to his account (like the red or that he still has)

Also Tabula actually liked the horn on the main head so much that when making Albedo he indulged and gave her the same horns as Momo

Anyway time continues and we get to the start of the story

A lot of things go somewhat to canon . Of course there are differences , like the fact that he can in fact eat and sleep (it helps to relax because of all the stress that Nazarick puts him under ) and also having the emotional suppression ting weakened while in dragon mode

Of course things still bleed over from the forms

Like make Momo even more of a collector that canon

Of course he is also a lot more willing to indulge his hoard in whatever they desire

Because that's the thing

Momo doesn't hoard gold , previous metals , artifacts , World Items or such meaningless junk . What he hoards is people

And the denizens of Nazarick and more specifically the NPCs created by his fellow players are the crown jewels of his hoard . With Momo being willing to give everything else he has to have them be his . Which considering the NPCs unwavering loyalty means he is almost constantly on a HordingHigh™ and also running a lot on dragon instincts because of his actually (already) rather compatible mind set and hoarding habits

Shalltear's brainwashing really really angry and the moment he learns who is to blame the whole country will be going down is flames

The Lizardmen arc did go relatively smoothly . Especially after Ainz learned that Cocytus was interested in "hoarding" a few of the lizardmen , and the warriors at that ! Cocytus did still have to kill them to show dominance but all the chefs were revived because they do have the potential to also catch Cocytus's eye . And Ainz is more than happy to indulge his children

The same goes for the Tuare situation . The moment Ainz was sure that Sebas wasn't being mind controlled it was easy to piece out that he must be starting his own hoard , with the reason why he was so protective of Tuare specifically being because not only had she already been deeply hurt to the point of almost breaking but she is the weakest (or the least protected) out of his hoard . After that when she started to work at Nazarick she was largely regarded like a summoned monster aka absolutely loyal to their summoner (Sebas) and by extension Lord Ainz as the supreme being he is , so she got treated relatively well (especially in comparison If it were any other human) while she was part time a maid and part time helping in the kitchen her coworkers in both having quickly become fond of her (it is like a child trying to imitate an adult from their perspective)

Overall Ainz being more like a dragon rather that a lich makes only small differences

Like rather than having Gazef killed he instead got kidnapped (Jirchiv is questioning if he is next on the kidnapping order)

And msimilar shinanagans happening

Until platinum dragon lord meets Ainz in the bone(flesh ? Scales?) for the first time . And immediately understands 2 things . That being:

1) he threatened the hoard of a brooding parent aka when the parent is the most likely to go straight for the kill on any neasances let alone something that threatened their child

And

2) WHY IS HE SO HOT ????

Because platinum is having a sexuality crisis because the only dragon that has ever caught his interest just had to be an YGRASILL player . And a hot angry YGRASILL player who has directed his ire at him (would it be strange for him to say he finds that hot ?) . He kinda wanna gets choked to death by those hands or fucked out of consciousness while again getting checked (aperantaly he has a choking kink)

RANDOM AU IDEA BEFORE SLEEP:

Overlord Player!Albedo AU.

All members of Ainz Ooal Gown have quit Yggdrasil, the once popular DMMO-RPG, leaving the guild's leader, Momonga, all alone... well, all except for one.

Player!Albedo has stuck by Momonga's side as his dutiful right hand woman. However, unbeknownst to Momonga, who still remembers fondly all of his comrades, Player!Albedo began harboring an intense hatred of their old guild mates. Why? Because they left and let her dearly beloved Momonga crestfallen.

Indeed, for you see Player!Albedo has a huge crush on Momonga... perhaps to a disturbing degree. That's the main reason she stuck by his side for so long. And on the day of Yggdrasil shutdown, when she was sure she would never be able to see her beloved again, the two of them -alongside their guild base, the Great Tomb of Nazarick- are transported to a New World.

Now transformed as their in-game Avatars, with the now living NPCs of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Momonga seeks to understand their situation while Player!Albedo accompanies him, now looking to make their relationship something more intimate.

The problem? Momonga now is a skeletal undead with an emotional suppression, while Player!Albedo is a lusting Succubus... An immovable object meets an unstoppable force. Well, that and also the fact Momonga wants to look for his friends in this New World, but Player!Albedo wants to keep ruling their empire alone.

How would having two Supreme Beings change the story? Could love actually blossom? Or will their conflicting values clash? How will Nazarick fare with two leaders with different mentalities?

Should I write more of this AU? Maybe draw stuff for it? Is it any good at all? I DON'T KNOW! YOU TELL ME!

Overlord AU

Given the secret function with the Horn of the Goblin General seems to imply that there was a title system within Yggdrasil, plus Touch Me’s World Champion title let him use his armor if I’m remembering the lore right

So what if Momonga started earning himself titles, especially because they grants skills and abilities without taking up levels so he earns various titles, some of which means he’s able to read runes and other languages (earned through a quest line about bringing peace between two warring cities that spoke and wrote different languages) became immune to holy magic (he had to defeat an Archon King Angel and with that title also earned a slight level in the angel race meaning he got wings) and so on and so forth even finding some titles he could give to the NPCs with permission from his guild mates

He actually earned so many titles that he earned a title Master of Titles (a joke from the devs) which allowed him to grant others titles

How would this change his journey in the New World?

Thinking about this, touching back on the last one where if he had Cayna's ability, I feel like it would be the same, as in he would, with permission from the guild mates, to give their NPCs powerful abilities. Before the shutdown, I feel there would be nobody that could even enter Nazarick, even the lowest level monsters would probably have powerful abilities that normal players wouldn't be able to get past easily, and those who do definitely won't get past Shalltear, not unless if they are like Momonga, and spams cash shop items.

After the changeover, I feel like when he gets to planning (read: getting Demiurge to tell everyone his 'plans') to take over, he would look at all of the floor guardians as well as the other monsters who call Nazarick home. He would see what abilities they have, and using his Master of Titles, something he originally liked until he learned othes were making fun of him, he would give them abilities that would fit with not only their personalities, but with the abilities and skills they already have. This would make them way more powerful than they originally were in the series.

I can also see him, when he's creating his Death Knights for example, that he could bestow abilities on them as well, like something that would give them a higher attack or defense stat, or giving them abilities to do specific attacks that is not normal for Death Knights.

Most all of the floor guardians, as well as the Battle Maids, would be blessed with the language skill, as he would use them to spread his reach both farther and faster than he originally would have, so soon that whole world knows of him, and with their abilities, they can defend themselves (and crush some skulls) if said kingdoms don't take kindly to the one nice request Momonga is willing to give them.

There would be no way, period, that these kingdoms would survive if he had this skill, but I feel like Momonga would use a handful as examples to the other kingdoms, and shows those who are opposing them that they have no chance, to entice them into surrendering. Momonga knows he could rule with his power and fear, putting everyone beneath him, but I don't think he would be a tyrant, and he would turn the world into a booming world, where nobody would have to want for anything and nobody has to suffer unnecessarily from hunger or war, not having access to basic needs.

The world would be under his command quickly, but it would thrive under his rule.

As I re-read the part where the Nobles from Re-Estize Kingdom couldn't wait to underestimate Ainz-sama with their meager knowledge...I can only cover my face in shame.

Ignorance is not bliss, it's simply a sin!

Especially being ignorant about the insurmountable gap between oneself and one's foe.
