I've been chatting to a lot of trans and NB folks lately about Vash and gender, and I'm so glad we all resonate with him ✌️

Shout out to sofia hunt showdown for rejecting gender and embracing murder
genderfluid wild? or nb legend. ily
Legend was sitting still, watching as Wild confidently did up her hair in pretty braids. Legend knows Wild is a girl now, Legend knows because Wild told them what the bracelets they wear mean very early on, and the one she wears now is a scrap of pink fabric.
That's what she told them all those months ago. The bracelets are the tell-tale of her ever changing genders. Sometimes Wild's hair would be braided and pretty, but a blue bracelet will be on his wrist. Sometimes, the outfit will be tight and revealing of their chest, but the white fabric with colorful stars would be there instead.
Always look for the bracelets.
And Legend can't stop thinking about it. Legend couldn't stop thinking about it since the first time they've all been told it was even a possibility for one to not be the gender they were born as.
To not be any gender.
And it's strange, because for all the thinking Legend does about it, it's impossible to pin what exactly Legend thinks about it.
But thinks about it, Legend does.
"It's fantastic weather for some hunting," Wild suddenly says from her spot, her hands dropping from her hair. Legend wonders who taught her how to do it that well. If it was Zelda or the Gerudo or if Wild slowly taught herself over time. Either way, it's impressive.
"How do you do it?" Legend blurts, and Wild freezes, staring back with wide eyes, perhaps already knowing that Legend isn't asking about how she hunts.
"...what do you mean?" She asks, voice tightening and weary sounding all of a sudden.
Legend winces, remembering the rare times Wild has shared her less than joyful experiences with being open and proud of her ever changing identity. People who didn't care that she saved the entire world, people who reached forward and tore the braids from her hair and dresses from her shoulders, people who gave her black eyes to cover the mascara. Legend doesn't mean that... and somehow Legend means exactly that.
"You..." Legend says, grasping for words, grasping for anything solid enough to make Legend not regret bringing this up. "You!" Legend gestures at Wild. "How can you do it? When so many people don't... don't understand..."
Understanding flashes on Wild's eyes, and she slowly moves from her spot, moving towards Legend and sitting down besides Legend like she's afraid her fellow hero would try to bolt.
Legend honestly can't feel anything, let alone legs to bolt on.
"I've had... a lot of time to come to terms with myself," Wild says slowly, like she's talking to a frightened child. "It wasn't always easy, but I had Zelda and other friends who supported me, who still support me, so I'm not afraid to be who I am even if the rest of the world hates me."
Wild levels Legend with a knowing stare. "I support you. And you can come to me for anything, and I will be on your side."
And it's like all the walls crumble. Tears burst through and Legend falls forward, chest to knees, head in hands. Wild curls herself around Legend in a warm embrace, as Legend sobs and sobs that something isn't right, and she whispers she understands and she's here.
Eventually, they break apart, and she offers Legend a scrap of fabric, something so important to her but something she doesn't think she needs right now.
Legend follows her back to camp hours later, eyes puffy and red, but tears dried. Heart pumping louder than war drums.
Sky is the first to see the white and star-crossed fabric. It doesn't feel quite right on Legend's wrist. Close, but different, but enough, and a warm feeling fills Legends chest when understanding and happiness and love flows through the group without a single question or comment.
Because these heroes are Legend's family, and Legend is always enough just being Legend, gender be damned.
some ideas on pitaya’s dragon form.....
omg how’d you end up getting Kenny :0 ??
Emma (my little sister) has spent the past year studying + preparing the house for a rabbit, we've had a hutch built and everything for a while, we just lacked the rabbit. Emma and mom have been going around animal shelters for the past couple of weeks looking at bunnies but no dice, then on Monday my dad went into PetSmart to buy more supplies & fell in love with a bunny and just. Bought them?? But yeah we brought them home today. Dad knew the gender at some point but then he kept mixing up the pronouns which confused the rest of us so now we have no idea what gender the bunny is. Kenny is two months old.
I’ve only had Essam Mahmood for a day and a half but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself
how embarrassed were the straight guys who called pitou waifu when they realized they go by he/they pronouns
she/he users? this one's for you.
