Hello! My name is Cristina, and I came across the ask you answered about recent grads applying to the NBC Page Program. Being in this program is something that's been in the back of my mind for the longest time, and I've just recently gotten the courage to actual consider it as a viable option for myself. I would love to hear about your experiences and take any advice you might about the application process. Thanks so much for taking the time :)

Hello Cristina! I have only been an intern at NBC but I do know quite a bit about the program. The Page Program has a great website that lays out their application requirements including past media internships and outside work experience. Please let me know if you have any specific questions and I’d be happy to try and answer them.

AN UPDATE ON MY LIFE OMG

Hi everyone! I haven’t been on in a long long time but I SWEAR it has been for good reasons!

I was interviewing for jobs left and right. I eventually was offered a position at Viacom (MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, BET, etc...) where I work with social influencers on campaigns for the channels! It has been AMAZING. I research and pitch talent and go on shoots. I’m in the middle of my second week so I’m still adjusting.

ALSO right after I accepted this job, I was offered a position at the CBS Page Program, which was amazing and super cool but I declined.

But then TODAY, I’m at work and it was almost time to leave...I got an email from the NBC PAGE PROGRAM ASKING ME TO INTERVIEW??? I had applied and didn’t hear back for a bit so I just assumed it was a no?!

I’m TORN though because I have this job and I really do enjoy it, but the Page Program has been a DREAM of mine since literally forever. I know nothing has happened yet but the fact that I’m even being offered this opportunity is kind of blowing my mind. I need some advice on what to do! To me my gut says do the interview because I have nothing to lose, but if I got a position with the program I would be taking a significant pay cut...but do the benefits of having this in with NBC outweigh that one negative thing???

ALL ADVICE AND OPINIONS ARE WELCOME!

ps. I have three friends currently in the program now so I have been getting their input too!

I just accidentally applied for the NBC Page program! I thought I was simply uploading my resume to the careers site for future use and then when I completed all of these interesting fields and hit submit I received the message that I successfully applied for the NBC East Coast Page Program. I mean wanted to apply but I was not prepared to apply yet. I hope I filled everything out correctly!
