RIIL athletes always represent Rhode Island well at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and this year was no exception. One of the biggest highlights was the East Greenwich 4x800-meter relay's 3rd-place finish in a R.I. state record and U.S. #3 time of 7:35.43 at Aggie Stadium in Greensboro, N.C. Johnson ('19) / @caleb.johnson77 for setting new Emerging Elite Boys Pole Vault Meet Record with his 4.81m/15'-9.25" performance at the 2018 New Balance Indoor Nationals.
