“ LIAN? ” Roy called, pushing his hair out of his face with a frustrated huff. Jesus christ he looked away from her for ONE second and she disappears. A curious age, she was adorable but also giving Roy gray hair. 

 “ Pumpkin? ” He called once more, turning the doorknob to another room and peering inside and what he saw almost have him a heart attack. 

“ JESUS MARY AND JOSPEH! ”  He exclaimed as he watched a GIANT snake wrap around his daughter.

          “why didn’t you BELIEVE us?”   it was quiet aboard the s.s. prospero, the stars being the only COMPANY on deck besides klaus and his slightly-less-giddy guardian.   “you said you knew our PARENTS well, and you said we were ‘your children.’  why didn’t you LISTEN to us then?”   uncle monty was supposed to be different.  he was supposed to PROTECT them.  but they ended up having to SAVE him and themselves from count olaf all over again.  klaus had thought uncle monty trusted him and respected his INTELLECT –– like MOTHER and FATHER had.  apparently, that had not been true.
