“You have very little to fear, Jesse dearest.” She sounds so sickeningly  saccharine as she wraps her arms around his waist, the grin on her face nearly splitting it in half while the depravity that had long ago formed in her eyes worsens with every heartbeat. She may be tiny, but her grip on him is surprisingly firm.

Those fangs of hers glint.

              “Especially not someone who loves you as much as I do.”

Jesse couldn’t help but squirm a bit at the grip around his waist. No no-this wasn’t quite right. He put a hand on her shoulder in a small attempt to push her of him. But damn-she had him tight.

“Love, huh?” He asked, shaking his head at that. “I ain’t quite sure if this is what that is. Are you-uh...feelin alright?”

All of them were caught unawares. She was a failed experiment - obedient, useful, but not what they’d intended. They expected to work her to exhaustion, to learn every detail of her mutation and possibly replicate the results, and wait until she’s on the verge of breaking down to dispose of her. W-DB-09 had an expiration date already.

So when the numbers of experiments that the spearhead of the council wished to have as protection and scientific showcases at an upcoming formal gathering came out, seeing W-DB-09 on the list surprised both her and her creators. They had a lot of work to do, getting her ready even for that in time. And finding a dress.

But there she stood in the corner of the gathering, ready for inspection, feeling almost naked with her arms exposed like this. She missed her jumpsuit, strangely - it was familiar at this point. This...soft fabric was not.
