Threadtracker threads

I’m not typing them out this time, so check the link if you’re on there. If you’re not, I’ve likely forgotten to put it on the tracker.

As usual, if you’re no longer interested in our thread, please tell me.

Since I’ve gotten some things sorted out irl I’ll try to be somewhat more active.

Like this post if you’d like to talk about threads, etc. I can only handle so many threads atm so if we already have a thread or two I’ll likely stick to those until one is done.

I owe a starter to @monomaniametus right now If we’ve talked about threads, I’m likely not starting because either there’s still things to iron out or we haven’t confirmed we’re going to write. Or I’ve forgotten.

When Sombra first met Reaper she had to admit, he seemed like every other grunt in Talon’s ranks. Angry, to the point, just looking to get the job done with blind loyalty. Now she knew better. It had taken a good year or two to piece together enough of his personality to know he even had one, but it was there. Eventually he started responding to her usual quips, eventually coming to warm up to her to an extent. They had more in common than they cared to admit.

That’s how running into him at a shady bar turned into conversation, and conversation led to their usual banter. With a sly smirk, Sombra purred,” Oh really? Because I think you can’t keep up with me, abuelo.”

To accentuate her point she grabs his glass, drank the last sip in one go, her eyes locked to the sockets in his mask. She was feisty. Maybe she’d remind him of an old punk of a recruit of his from Deadlock, maybe he’d feel the need to put her in her place. Sombra took her bottle and refilled both their glasses with tequila, and she snickered,” I mean you aren’t the young man you used to be, Gabe. Pushing 60, right?”

      she wiped her brow, the heat was not what she was used to, humidity heat and dry heat were two very different things, and right now she was sweating and quite a lot of complaining was coming from the other leader in the room, he kept shifting and wiping his brow all stuffy.

so, in her huffy state she declared that she’d make him sweat if he didn’t shut up. but he seemed to see it as an inventation. which got her chuckling.

after a few seconds she shifted to be closer to him, her hair now wavy because of the humidity sliding down her shoulders, before she was now face to face, inches apart from his.

         ‘ i’m sure you’d like that gabriel. ’

she muttered, but they were at work, so right now that is what they needed to focus on. with a small teasing hum, and hand sliding down his arm she turned in her seat back to her work.

         ‘ i doubt i’d even sweat with you though~ ’

ah there was her little one liner quip. honestly though, the other was handsome, strong, and quite charming. she’d have her way to 7 sundays with him if he’d take the offer... wonder if she could later.

          checking on gabe was probably the best idea he had. if he hadn’t who knows how long he’d stay up. the last time he had checked on him was about three days ago, and it looked like he hadn’t even slept yet. now was an even bigger problem. genji sighed at the way gabe didn’t seem to really register what he said, gently reaching up to touch his cheek and run his fingers through his hair.

                        “no, you’ll sleep now. even if i have to carry you there.”

        genji points out. he wouldn’t hesitate to carry the commander if needed. continuing to give him soft, affectionate touches, hoping maybe those would help to coax him to sleep. with the added energy genji didn’t have to sleep as often, so he’d probably stick around until he was sure gabe was asleep before heading off to his own room.

     Talon. It wasn’t an organization she knew much about nor was it one she really liked; however, she had been approached with a deal she couldn’t refuse. They promised to give her the vengeance she desperately sought after. But, of course, it came with a heavy price. She would have to prove her loyalty before they aided her. Luck appeared to be on her side so far when she learned the facility they currently had their sights on was one she was all too familiar with. It had been abandoned not long ago due to some of the secret organization’s experiments and tech falling into the wrong hands. But the previous owners didn’t leave it unguarded. In the beginning, extreme safety measures were put up to keep anyone from reaching the center of the construction where their most deadly items lied. 

     Milo had been hired on just before they abandoned everything as another safety measure. She was to watch over the members in the shadows and alert the higher ups if anything seemed out of the ordinary and dispose of anyone showing signs of betraying the company. She had learned how to get past every past and which hallways to completely avoid and which ones led to certain death. The downside was she had to hope her memory held out as nothing was put into any sort of system but instead put on paper that was burned after they ceased all experiments.

     With a single exhale she stretched her arms upward, mimicking the vines that clawed their way up the sides of the old building. She glanced over at the man -- thing(?) she had been ordered to assist with the manner, wondering how long she’d last against him. Not long. But luckily, she was currently on the same side as him and if he wished to get through without being sent somewhere else in time or even another dimension he’d have to tolerate her.

          “Alright Smokey Joe, ya ready t’ get this done and done? Or are ya gonna keep thinkin’ about the next soul ya gotta reap?” She asked, cracking a smile in hopes of getting more than a single word answer from him.
