if you're not following @xgenome you're seriously missing out on so much talent and just an amazing mun. when i write with lydia it's like im actually writing with charles, reading his words and his thoughts. it's only been less than a week that I've known her and her charles and yet, im completely in love with both of them and when we talk it feels like we've known each other for years. the same with @ncrvcbrcaking it's a kind of trust and love i had no idea role playing could bring into my life and that i am so grateful of having.

♣ “Before we go in, I must tell you that we had to go through drastic measures in order to keep our people and other patience unharm.” the escorter  warns, “she’s muzzled and we had to put her in a straight jacket.” Of course the man felt bad, no child deserved to be immobilized but it was for her and others safety. 

“I’m sure a visit from you will certainly make her happy.” Seeing as how her own mother won’t come to visit her, he was glad that Yukiko’s uncle was here to check on her. He leads the man down the hall and into the elevator. Once out, he leads him further down the hall until they come to a stop in front of one of the doors, “This is her room. She should be awake....If...erm, if you need anything just knock.” He opens the door and waits for man to enter. 

Yukiko’s sitting on her bed, staring at bare feet while dark raven hair covers scars infected face. However, when door opens, she takes a quick glance at who’s walking in. There’s no reaction from her, because honestly, she was thinking that maybe this man in front of her was another doctor, about to ask a question. She’s not looking at the way he’s dressed or the way he walks. 

“Tuo teg.”

“Get out.”

Kitty stumbled away from the alley out back of the bar, wiping blood from her face. She would usually have been worried about ruining her sleeves, but she had a huge tear in her shirt already, so she’d just have to replace it. It would make her feel a little better if this fight had been for work, but mostly it had been a mix of drunkenness and annoyance. The guy who’d been bothering her was a lot worse off than her, so that was okay.

As she slid her jacket on and started looking around for a cab, she saw someone heading toward the bar. She stuck one of her bloody hands out to stop him.

“I wouldn’t go back there, if I were you. Nasty, but they’ll clean it up in a little while.”

Cold Rooms

The hospital felt colder that night. It was silent where Bruce walked, up on a higher floor, where there were fewer rooms and far more labs. The first floors were almost always bustling with activity, and were usually where he spent all of his time. The top floors seemed chilling, and devoid of any warm colors. The walls were a pale blue, and white tiling reflected that exact color everywhere else. Each door looked exactly the same, and was denoted with a small, removable tag. Not many people got private rooms- these were the special patients. Bruce read these as he walked by until he found the door he was looking for.

He had been asked to check up on one specific patient, someone who had somehow survived a bullet to the brain. The patient had been healing for months on end, and had nearly died before even making it to the hospital. It was a miracle, sheer luck that he had made it this far. According to the chart near the door, the man was close to being discharged. He knew nothing else of the history of the patient, and had only been sent to inform him that his recovery was going well.

Bruce placed a hand on the icy door handle, and pressed it down to push the door open.
