Sometimes he’d even tell you “If things aren’t going well, you can always stay with me”

He’d probably try to get you involved in nct too

Not official ways, but he’d invite you to practices and play songs for you

I also think for a while you’d be the person he’d sing his original songs to, because he’d be nervous to sing them for anyone else, and he’d know you would be honest with him about his stuff

He’d share his insecurities with you too, about his looks, his talent, his future

He wouldn’t care about being emotional around you, you’re his sibling, you’re never going to judge him?

But let’s keep in mind he is young and playful

So I think you guys would do lots of fun things with each other

Like going to a local park and playing on the swings and slides

And sometimes you’d pack a picnic and turn up to the dorm when you know he’s free and take him and anyone else out to the park

There’d be a massive game of frisbee where Renjun would end up “tripping” Chenle so you’d have to help him

In fact, if any of them hurt themselves you’d have to apply some plasters because they’d keep going

If you ever sat down to take a break Jisung would come and sit with you to keep you company and you’d just laugh at what the others were doing

Jisung would buy you an ice cream too, as a thank you for the lovely day out

Also take him to an aquarium, he would absolutely love that shit

He’d be running around like an excited little child, pointing at all the fish and grinning at the sea horses

He would be a sweet younger brother who would try to act mature and concerned for you, but you’d end up spending your time together laughing and doing regular sibling things and having an amazing time of it

Because why can’t you just put your clothes in the washing basket? Why just leave it on the floor?!

If you ever had friends around he would always appear with his winning smile to charm them

Honestly, you’d stop inviting friends around because he always managed to steal your friends

Your friends would always ask how he was, to the point where whenever his name was mention, you would just roll your eyes

So when you eventually met the other nct members, you had made it your mission to make them like you more than they liked Jaemin

It will be an all out competition of flattery, aegyo and charm to win over the others

And ofc they would love you, and Jaemin would go off and sulk

Soon the boys would start to ask if you were going to visit, and Jaemin finally apologised for stealing all your friends. He can now see why it’s so annoying

If Jaemin ever annoyed you, you would tell one of the other members a story about jaemin, or send a photo they can use against him

Jaemin as a brother would mean light hearted bickering, embarrassing eachother in front of your friends, but then spending a few hours together just laughing and having fun. For how much you got on eachothers nerves, you still enjoyed seeing him and supporting him, and he always supported you.

I don’t think he’d ask about many serious things, mostly just about work and studying just to make sure you’re doing ok and it’s not overwhelming you, but otherwise he’d leave you to decide to do with your life without putting much pressure on you

If he ever gets into fights with any of the other members he’d phone you up just to talk it through because you know what they’re like and you can help calm him down, and maybe even talk to the other members to get them to sort out their problems

You’d sort of be like a sister to the other members as well, they’d all take care of you and mark as a pair since you’re always off doing things together

If you ever crashed at their dorm they would all be offering their beds to you, but you insist on sleeping on the couch so they bring you pillows and a blanket and mark is happy to see you comfy (he’s also happy he isn’t having to do the work lmao)

He’d always remember to buy you a little gift whenever they go travelling- just a keyring or a badge, nothing too expensive

If anyone asked about you, he’d have this smile on his face, because he’s so proud of you and all you’ve achieved

But he doesn’t really care about you doing lots of work, he is proud because you are a good person

I think he’d wait a while to let you meet the other members, and he’d have to have a little chat with them all before hand

“Ok guys, you’re going to meet my bro/sis. Just be nice. Don’t even think about flirting.” He’d give Johnny a VERY pointed look.

I don’t think he’d be very interested in your love life either. He’d have to meet and approve of anyone you dated though, it was part of his brother duties. But he wouldn’t try and interrogate or intimidate them, he’d just want to make sure you were being taken care of.

And of course he would rally up the other members and turn up to make them cheer you on too, expect your face on his shirt or something because he will be your hype man, and yes he will be totally embarrassing

Everyone would just be like “omg is that your brother” and you’d have to make a mental note to tell him to calm the hell down because people were making comments and he was being too crazy

He’d want you to meet the other members and be their friends, but in a very lowkey way

He’d expect them to take care of you. You can have jokes with them, but if you were getting pretty close to them he’d just need you to confirm that he is your favourite brother and not them and he’d be happy.

It’s kind of unusual for others to see how close you are, it’s like you’re friends

You don’t really do much with each other, in terms of going out

Your hanging out is usually getting something to drink, watching some tv, just chilling with each other

He likes to act like he isn’t an idol with you, he’s just a big brother hanging with his sibling

He doesn’t really want you hanging around the other members, he just prefers hanging out with you separately from the other guys.

If you became friends with one of the members he really wouldn’t mind, but he wouldn’t compromise on the sibling time you guys had with each other

I don’t think he’d want you talking to the members because they could tell you some stories about him being a cheeky idol, and he doesn’t want the image you have of him in his mind to change.

He’d want you to think of him the same way you always have, and not be affected by the media and rumours surrounding him

And the other members were just so confused as to why you were laughing so much they were all just looking at Johnny like ???

But Johnny just smiled and said you were nervous, slung an arm around your shoulders then lead you into the kitchen for a drink

He’d contact you to settle disputes in the group. Nothing serious, just little things

“Which is better, red or green apples?” “Cold or warm custard?” “White or brown bread?”

And you got used to just giving your opinion without even bothering to ask why

Honestly, the boys would be used to Johnny looking up from his phone and going “Y/n says…” and the’d groan because that would mean it’s the end of the argument. Your word is basically law around there

I think Johnny would joke a lot about the other members having crushes on you. Like they could smile at you one time and it’s just

“Doyoung are you in love with my brother/sister?”

He’d just really love to embarrass the other members and watching them blush and get nervous because they didn’t mean to flirt, honestly, they were just being nice!

But he isn’t THAT serious, and he wouldn’t even mind you dating the members. They are good people, you are good people. As long as they don’t hurt you, he wouldn’t have a problem.

I can see him really loving to get ice cream with his siblings, I think he’d want to try every flavour that exists

You wouldn’t share ice cream though. If you wanted to try his he’d just smile and say “Try it next time” because that would mean there would definitely BE a next time

Expect him to judge you though, a lot

“You’re getting nuts? NUTS?” “I’m sorry, did you just say strawberry sauce and not chocolate?”

Basically in every way he is just a cuddly best friend who buys you food and laughs with you and gives you great hugs (because he’s so tall) who 10/10 thinks you’re amazing and likes to share all the ‘ugly’ moments of the other members with you because he loves to see you struggle at keeping a straight face whenever you visit.
