D.O.B. 31 March 2025 (23) I.D. Civilian, Mover & Custodian, Ace
Jaewon was born in Jeollanam-do with his parents and a younger sibling that was obviously favored by their parents.
While his sibling worked for a better life, he was a daydreamer and wanted to work instead of continuing an education they can hardly afford.
With mediocre grades throughout his life, people believed he was all talk when he claimed he was going to do something great in Seoul.
Before he took off, he decided to take on his military enlistment first at the age of 19. “A taste of independence” as he would call it.
Once he raised enough money for a ticket to Seoul, he left home and had no plans when arriving to an online friend’s apartment.
When his brain and mouth end up working well together, he managed to land a job as a janitor for the Seoul PD. Not a cop, but close enough!
He took on other jobs, one having been a porter at the Clearview Hotel.
When his brain and mouth ended up NOT working together, cursing under his breath to a rude customer brought him some unwanted attention.
The customer ended up being a YURIPA member and somehow Jaewon managed to convince the member to let him in on a little job for good pay.
Jaewon is stuck between good and bad, but has managed to keep things separated. Who said this Jeolla boy wasn’t going to do great things?
Ahn Jaewon. The happy-go-luck kid that’s always smiling and talking other people’s heads off. One either loves him or hates him, but there is no denying that he’ll continue to live his life as if it doesn’t bother him. He’s used to ignoring a lot of things. ‘Are you seriously going to waste your time and leave to a place you have no connection to?’ ‘Are you really the older brother?’ It first started with the constant nagging of his parents wanting him to be like his sibling or wanting him to follow some path he has no interest in. To be honest, he doesn’t have interest in much to begin with. Jaewon has always wanted to live life as it comes to him. All the planning and worry for the future seems like a waste of time for him because nothing one expects will come out in the end. So when he moved to Seoul, he had no plans only that he had a place to stay. It’s a great way to start there.
“You’re insane.” Jaewon laughs at his online friend’s comment as he pulls his luggage out of the taxi cab. “I told you I trusted you and someone who still wants me to come over despite not knowing each other is either the real person or a serial killer.” His friend raises his eyebrow as he examines the other for the first time. “I don’t… Never mind. Let’s go in.” Jaewon follows his friend inside his apartment and leaves his luggage besides the door. He had always wondered how his friend lived in Seoul. It’s not like he never went to a city before, (Yeosu was an hour away from home), but it somehow became different when he knew he was going to stay here for the rest of his life probably. “So, did you find a job already that you suddenly wanted to come life here?” Jaewon shakes his head and lets his body fall back on to the couch. “Nope.” He says with nonchalance in his voice. “And you think I’m going to let you live here rent free?” He can hear the disbelief in his friends tone, so he sits up and turns to his direction. “Calm down, friend. I’ll find a job tomorrow. It’s your turn to trust me.” He gives out his signature grin that his friend is not buying. “In a day? In Seoul? Not possible.” Maybe he’s right, Jaewon thinks, but life is unpredictable and who knows, maybe he’ll be the lucky one. “That’s because people are aiming high. Not enough low.” He stands up to look around, but it’s his own way of starting his monologue that may or may not make sense. “You see this day and age people want to be someone great right off the bat- they waste their life with competition in schools and work, and for what? Sitting in a desk job until the day they die!? No thanks. I prefer the humble beginnings. Working and helping the people. Being the operations in a huge company. Something that won’t run well without me. Like a busboy, janitor, porter…”
“Just go to sleep.”
