Masterlist: Imagine calling your boyfriend, Doyoung, whose overseas at the moment for the start of their tour. It’s night time for him but still afternoon for you. You keep each other company on facetime while doing your own thing. Most of the time it’s silent (apart from the occasional random humming) while you concentrate on your homework. Tonight when you take a break from your readings, you look up at your phone and notice how concentrated Doyoung looks.

“Shouldn't you start getting ready for bed now? It’s late over there.” You question, noticing the city lights outside the curtain windows of his hotel.

“Yeah I will, I’m just going to monitor our rehearsal stages before I sleep.”

“How did it go?” You ask, taking a moment to stretch your arms out and have a break.

“We still have to continue memorising our positions but it should be okay.” He replies, eyes still glued to his laptop screen. You hum in response and turn back to your notebook. Another 30minutes pass and he glances briefly over to his phone screen and laughs softly to himself. He didn't notice it before but only the top of your head remains visible in the camera as you’ve fallen asleep on your desk, as per usual. He decides it’s probably better to let you nap so you have more energy for later to study.

She always manages to sleep before me, even if we aren’t together he thinks to himself, as he ends the call silently.
