Not really new - at least not to the company itself - but even as I was moving boxes in there were a ton of faces that I do not recognize. So yeah, for those who haven’t met me, seen my stuff, or heard of me in your local book club, Gabriel Berry. Probably better known around here as Angel. It’s so cliche since everyone has been on the going home bandwagon, but I may be the next one to take a little break. My mom and her husband invited me to go spend some time with them in Colorado and can’t really think of any reason why a weekend trip would be a bad idea. Her husband seems pretty cool so maybe getting to know him better isn’t the worst idea in the world.

What’s up, guys? I’m new to these parts, and low-key missing San Fran with Pride coming up but I’m pretty stoked to be here and try my hand at some more professional stuff in the industry. Uh, I’m Morgan— I’m kind of a dork; real into video games and bad jokes, and sex, obviously. So me and @harleyislive are gonna be heading to Texas on Saturday, then roadtripping back here, and if I don’t leave him by the side of the road somewhere in Arizona, I’ll be real surprised. Anyway, if y’all want souvenirs hit me up. It’ll probably be alcohol or tacky tourist stuff ‘cause who doesn’t want a ‘I left my ass in Tucson’ toilet seat cover?

Listen. When your tattoo artist instructs you not to pick your tattoo once it starts to scab, no matter how tempting it may be, no matter how much it itches or how much it’s just begging you to go dig your nails all up in there, you listen to your tattoo artist. Or you buy coconut oil and just keep covering it in that whenever you have the urge to touch it. I just had to do a touch-up of this sick piece I did the other week, and I’m so sad because the first time around was a total masterpiece! I mean, it looks fine now too, but come on, kiddos. Listen to us.

Also, who’s going to let me ink them? I’m feeling creative right now, so throw your design ideas my way and I’ll totally make them a reality. Just don’t pick them after. But it’s my birth-month, which means y’all have to humor me.

So for Mother’s day I was planning on calling my mom and talking to her for awhile, but she ended up facetiming me early that morning. She woke me up actually. I was like half asleep talking to my mom and trying to be quiet cause someone was still sleeping next to me. Then Regan woke up and my mom saw movement in the corner of the screen and insisted I show her whoever was with me. And after introducing Regan as a friend who needed a place to stay cause her apartment had a busted pipe, she had the nerve to ask for embarrassing pictures of me. I mean, can you believe that. Smh. Anyways, if you didn’t get to see your mom yesterday I hope you at least got to talk to her. And I hope everyone’s off to a good week.

It’s a Sunday which means that I’m going to be spending it at home, relaxing. I might need some new Netflix suggestions, I dunno. I’ve already made myself pretty comfy on the couch with Queenie, I even let myself skip my morning jog. I might come to regret that, but I guess we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
