This is fungalmentally important! Fungal pathogens are making appearances throughout the Midwest! This is zonate leaf spot in alfalfa, not a huge yield limiting factor, but cut early if you can!
Emerging soybeans here in Nebraska! Once soybeans emerge fully from the soil, they are at the VE (vegetative emergence) growth stage. Soybeans can have a tough road breaking the soil surface, if we have crusting! Under normal conditions the hypocotyl pulls the cotyledons out of the soil just fine! Soybeans are epigeous!
