on the topic of your last ask, i think actually thats because of specifically the characterizations of the english sonic characters? ive been playing sonic team racing in japanese and the way characters interact feel waaay different. idk if im just misinterpreting but its less um.. meme-y ?? shadow barely talks in japanese and amy is more cutesy.. DUNNO tho!

I wouldn’t be surprised! Sonic’s always been a series with a lot of differences between localizations
