MyFitnessPal for Panera Bread

MyFitnessPal is an app/website to help people trying to live a healthier lifestyle. I posted a link to the  blog where you can win Panera for A YEAR. (That’s a lot of Thai Chicken Salads!) After searching around the website more it shows that they make it extremely easy to log foods from Panera to stay on track to their health goals as well as promoting Panera’s “clean pairings.” It is for these reasons that I believe MyFitnessPal is a brand advocate for Panera Bread.

WMATA

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority known in its acronym as WMATA is one of the biggest transportation company in the nation that serves the population of  Washington,DC area including Maryland and Northern Virginia.To me,this is rather a brand advocate than a Social media influencer.

I see this as a brand advocate of different products that can be used to make tabrets as well as advocating the personal production of tabrets, People who are not crafty, who wish to have these items will search for companies that make tabrets and purchase them, online. This video advocates on multiple levels as well as informing people the different ways that they can locate tabrets to be used in their worship services.This young lady is not receiving any monetary reward from this informational video, but she has built a community of followers that she is informing and that is why I believe her to be a brand advocate vs a brand influencer.

Brand Advocate

I have chosen a forum that I spend time on myself and have come to recognize them as a forum for brand advocacy. MazdaRacers is a group dedicated to all that Mazda has to offer for racing enthusiasts like myself. The forum allows for individuals to chime in with pictures and posts to talk about all that is Mazda Racing. People have the ability to talk about problems and find solutions as well as see and hear about the newest Mazda race equipment. They also have the ability to sell their used ad custom equipment. While it may not be an individual that takes claim to the site, there is a group of enthusiasts that moderate the site and are not linked directly to Mazda.

I chose this group because I have been a member for several years.  These guys are loyal to the Ducati brand and share great information with owners and enthusiasts of Ducati, and the sport touring community in particular.  These guys are not all that well known and the group is closed to the public, although it’s easy to join.
