That IS a good typo! I like the idea of a magical piece of jewelry that looks like a tiny metal jousting lance, for Renfaire vibes, but it can summon as many floating ones as you like. Just picture someone standing there, grasping their pendant, with magical lances appearing in a circle around them to dramatically flash off toward their enemy.
