Light. Darkness. A balance.
Stitched on 18 count white Aida | 8ish” x 10ish”
Rey, from the Star Wars universe. As much as I enjoy the original trilogy (I even like the prequels, sue me), Rey is by far my favourite character from all the movies. Unless you count ewoks. In which case, she’s my second favourite.
This one took me 14 months exactly. January 16th 2018 to March 26 2019. I’m slower than I used to be, mostly because I have less time to stitch these days. But that’s okay, as long as I have some time. I went back to 18 count for this one. I’ll definitely try 22 count again some time, but it takes so much longer. I do have a picture in mind for my next 22 count project, though.
This one was definitely fun! Although the light saber got a bit monotonous, and the hair was pretty dull to stitch in times, there weren’t nearly as many shadowy parts as my last two projects (or my next one, OMG why do I keep doing this to myself?).
Thanks again, for all your kind words during this project. You guys definitely keep me going, and I love reading all your comments!
