Speaking of Valentine's Day. Gulls are pretty good at the whole lovely dovey thing and mate for life, they also co-parent their chicks. These are Kittiwakes, my favourite gull, they are a bit more polite than some of thier bigger cousins and live socially in colonies. Thier chicks are white and fluffy and very cute, I had some nesting on my window when I had a studio near the harbour. I've added kittiwakes to the Flock project now. It's been a funny old start to the year! This time last year I was up to ears in seagulls! Now I'm busy with Booby Birds! I'm struggling to get to grips with the new year (and we're already a month and a third in) and have been a little withdrawn while I focus on my latest project/building my new website/recover from the events of December. My instinct is to do everything all at once but I'm trying to be methodical!
