This is how I finished the over-one version of the Crowns and Flowers Sampler - doesn’t it make a cute #cushion? 😃 I’ve tucked it into one of my favourite baskets with the Peas on Earth collection of #needleworkaccessories - all out of the way of thieving little cats...😼😼 . On 36ct linen, this version is approximately 6 inches square so it’s perfect for me to take to shows - much smaller and more portable than the original framed antique! . This #sampler is all worked in #crossstitch so unlike most of my other pieces, could be worked on #aida instead of #linen. I charted it for #dmcthreads as they’re easily available in the UK, but if you’re lucky enough to have a well-stocked #localneedleworkstore you could convert to #silks for a really luxurious finish...🤤 .
