It’s done!! My first large piece, Floral Stained Glass pattern by @stitchinthematrix #embroidery #stitchinthematrix #satinstitch https://www.instagram.com/p/CcLWaNBLpkE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Going to do the fill for all the wings before I do the outlining. I made the orientation of the threads different for the bottom wings, because I started doing them vertical like the top, but I didn't like how it was coming out. Thankfully it was easy to undo because I wasn't very far yet. The only thing that I'm not sure about is the shine is more brilliant when the stitches are vertical than horizontal, so the bottom wings look kinda dull.. hopefully it won't be a big deal when everything is put together.

The Surface Satin Stitch is an ‘economical’ way of doing the Satin Stitch. Unlike in the Satin Stitch, the back of the fabric will reveal significantly less of the thread.
A little bit of embroidery! I used beads in my work for the first time and I think they turned out well considering I winged it 🌿
