Happy Easter! The bunting is up, the fizz is chilling, there’s a street party later…the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is finally here!! 🥳 And what better way to celebrate than with stitched crowns, tiny dogs and flowers? 👑🐕🌸 . I will, of course, be taking my current piece with me later to work on amongst the vol-u-vents and quiche but it’s not very Jubilee-themed 😂 So here’s a close up of the original Crowns and Flowers Sampler which dates from around the 1820s/1830s - it seemed a perfect fit for today! 👑🌸🐕 .
